  • In this module we will learn about genes.  NOTE: You will need to download the Codon Wheel Reference Sheet for use during this module.  You may use it for all course assignments, including the exam.

    1. Describe the components of nucleic acids.

    2. List the 4 bases of DNA and the 4 bases of RNA.

    3. Form a complimentary strand of DNA when given the base sequence of its corresponding strand.

    4. Trace the formation of a protein from a gene including all steps in transcription and translation.
