Course Description:

Teachers will learn about best practices to support students with disabilities to develop literacy. Specific topics include strategies for the development of literacy, stages of literacy development, instruction and differentiation of literacy throughout K-12 education, literacy for students with disabilities, and diagnosis and assessment of reading and math difficulties for non-education/literacy/reading majors.
